Love these pants. Good quality, really beautiful classy looking pants, and really nice fit. They didn’t roll down on me in the waist (I’m between 10-12 so I got L.) I took them on a trip to Europe and they were super light and matched every top I brought. Also there was a point I accidentally spilled food on them and with the velvet it all came right off.
In fact, I liked them so much I bought a second pair.

Honestly best leggings in my wardrobe. I got them a few days before a trip to Europe, and 3 days into my trip I ordered a second pair just in case Zappos ran out.
Super comfy, flattering, waist doesn’t “fold,” and can be worn casually or for a dressier occasion. Also the velvet is really high quality. I’m super happy with these and hope Spanx comes out with more colors!

These are beautiful leggings that stay in place and are true to size. Unfortunately, the knees look worn. I didn’t realize this until I saw myself wearing them in a photo. Both knees look worn and it cheapens the overall appearance of these otherwise dressy leggings. Very disappinted that they no longer have them in my size. I’d like to see if another pair has the same issue or if this is a flaw in the pair I am returning.

Loved these leggings! Perfect for holiday or cocktail wear with a longer top. I ordered a medium, I wear a 4\6 in clothes, but a large would have been more comfortable and perhaps not so tight. Better for the velvet material in my opinion. I am on the right in the picture.

I typically wear an XS in Hue leggings but ordered the black Spanx velvet leggings in size small based on recommendations from customers that these are more comfortable loose-fitting. The small fit fine (it wasn’t baggy but it also definitely wasn’t form fitting like my other Spanx items which are compression style leggings), however, they were really long by 5 inches or so for my 5’3” frame. The XS size was sold out in velvet so I didn’t have a chance to compare the fit between the XS and S, but I suspect that the XS would have been too long as well. The leggings are wearable as is even with the long pants length as long as you don’t mind the extra fabric gathering around your ankles, which wouldn’t be too noticeable wearing slouchy knee boots like the Frye Vera, but because I planned to wear these with ankle booties, I ended up shortening the hem quite a bit so that they were exactly ankle length. I didn’t want to spend an additional $20 on alterations for $98 leggings so thankfully, cutting off the extra fabric and shortening the hem was a simple enough DIY sewing project.

I have not worn any Spanx products before so I don’t have anything to compare it to other than my regular work out leggings or some casual leggings to wear with a sweater. I am a personal trainer and like wearing fitted clothing but actually found these to have too much pressure overall. I am 5’7″ and 125 lbs and tried the small first and then the medium and found both to be too restrictive. The quality is beautiful and i wanted to like them but definitely not comfortable for me.

I am so disappointed! I ordered the black velvet leggings and the first time I wore them, the knees look worn from crossing my legs??
This is highly upsetting when spending $100 on leggings! I bought these because the camo ones I bought are amazing! These feel amazing but no woman wants to walk around with worn knees!

I’m 5’6”, 150 & normally a 10-12 in pants/jeans. Ended up with a 1X in these leggings. Either they run small or I am overly fond of breathing easily and sitting comfortably. They are not baggy at all and fit smoothly. Made of beautiful velvet and look elegant. The inseam is perfect and hits at my ankle bone. I wish they were a true high rise legging instead of at the waist. For their limited season of wearing these are very nice and I’ll enjoy them.

The sizing of the product is fine, but the quality is absolute garbage. When I picked the leggings up I could see right through them! Save your money–these aren’t even remotely worth it.

First time wearing them and they literally have “runs” in them like a pair of pantyhose. Additionally, I am a size 6 and ordered the large. They are still tighter than to be expected. Not worth the $100 in my opinion.

I ordered my usual size L, but they run so small, I doubt I could even wear the XL. That being said, they were beautiful pants , but just did not work for me this time.
