I was very disappointed in these – an uncomfortable waistband that cuts in sharply and the leg openings ride up to the extent that I might as well have been wearing a thong or cheekies. The rubberized stuff on the leg openings has no grip at all.
They fit fine on try-on but when I wore for real, just terrible. Wish I could return them but too late. For $50+, not the quality I expect from Spanx.

I’m 6ft and about 180lbs. The Medium worked best for me, however, waistband was tight and made my stomach come out over it. Panty lines didn’t show though which why I bought them.

I am 5’1 and 140. I ordered a medium in the Thinstincts Girl Short hoping it would prevent chafing whenever I wear skirts or dresses. NYC summers are mostly humid and hot and not fun. It doesn’t quite achieve that objective, but it does make it easier to walk in the heat in your dress/skirt. The top does bunch up and ride down which can get annoying. However, I would think it may work better once I lose a little weight. It was fairly cool, which is helpful!

Know a few things… I love these under summer dresses as short. I buy them bigger than what I would usually buy, just to have them as a light layer, not for holding power. They just smooth you out, this isnt for control really. My only issue is the seams open in the crotch eventually.(after a full summer of wear) But Ive actually just sewn reinforced the seam myself ad Im back to loving them.

Goodness, I researched and researched the best Spanx for a really important day in our lives. I wanted to not worry about something rolling up or down and focus on the occasion. This was NOT the item for that, and I thought it was. The legs rolled up and the waist rolled down. I was miserable for hours. I am lean as well. Just wanted something to help a dress look nice as this was such an important event. I am so disappointed that I spent the money on a useless item. Do not recommend at all.
