Really liked the appointments and construction of this shoe. I’m running in Ghost 14 and Adrenaline 22 currently, wanted to try the Launch 9 for speed days but couldn’t get past the toe box – If you think it looks narrow, it is. Wish I could comment on the ride but had to return.

These are my barbering shoes. Perfect for standing all day. These run slightly larger than your usual size. I ordered a half size down and they fit perfect.

I was a long time Brooks Glycerin wearer, but then Brooks made some unfortunate changes in the Glycerin 18’s and 19’s (sharp heel tab and very narrow toe box), so I’ve been searching for a new running shoe to wear. While no shoe will be able to match what the Glycerin offered in the distant past, I believe these shoes will do the job. I was always a 10.5 or 10.5 wide in the Glycerin, but in the Launch 9 GTS, I am a size 9 wide which was shocking. Unfortunately, the shoes are still a bit narrow and a 4E would be ideal for me as I know would be ideal for MANY people. Seems Brooks makes their shoes a lot more narrow in the past couple years. Definitely love the lightweight of these shoes and they offer decent outer foot support. Definitely sacrifice some cushion for the lightweight, but hopefully it will be worth it. Big thanks to Zappos of course for the awesome customer service in helping me eventually settling on a size 9EE from my original order of a size 10.5EE.

These EE wide shoes felt to me like they were not even a E width. Will return them.

I wear an extra wide and I have flat feet. Brooks extra wide (EE) is usually true to fit but this felt narrow. I had to put inserts for arch support since it hurt my feet so bad. However, even with the arch support the sneaker is not the same quality as other Brooks sneakers. It makes sounds when I walk and feels flimsy.

These shows were huge on my son. His size 12 brooks were tight and uncomfortable. We ordered these in 13 wide and there is over 2.5-3 inches in the toes and I can stick my entire hand in the gap at the heel. For reference my is wearing new balance size 13 widefor cleats which are fine. My son loves the look and style. He is keeping them because he wore them outside before I got a chance to stop him. Hopefully he will grow into them…

My son wears these for cross country and distance races. They have held up well and are really comfortable and light weight.

I’ve been wearing Brooks running shoes, specially Ravennas and then the Launch GTS series when the Ravennas were discontinued and turned into the Launchs for 10+ years and have gone though 5-6 pairs a year running 2000 miles + a year. This is the first time I’ve ever had an issue. They do not fit the same way all the previous version fit and caused Achilles tendinitis in my case. I sent em back and bought up all the Launch GTS 8’s I could find online. I really wish Brooks would stop changing things. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Runners a creatures of habit and also changes in fit can cause injury. I’d say avoid these till the next version comes out, or at least take it easy and make sure they work for you. They are quite different from all the previous iterations.
