I have been wearing Brooks Dyad 10 shoes for a while, largely because they make them in extra wide widths, and I find them wonderfully comfortable. So I decided to try the Dyad 11s, and am also pleased. There are some slight differences in the models ~ the 11s seem to have a slightly wider toe area, but also a more pronounced arch which extends a little further back in the shoe. At first I wasn’t sure it would work for me but I’ve worn them a few times and they feel fine. I also think there is a tiny bit less padding in the sole in the front part of the shoe. Just for reference, I’m not a runner but my job requires that I stand all the time, so my shoes matter a lot to me.

I have been wearing these for 3 days straight. After modifications, they are very comfortable. Brooks shoes never have enough arch support and the sides are tall enough to rub my ankle bones. a 3/4 length, commercially available arch support takes care of both of those issues. The laces in front need to be loosened so that the toe box is really wide enough. That done, these are very comfortable shoes and I will walk many miles in them.

Very solid bottom, sole. Feels firm for a neutral shoe, similar to how Saucony used to feel. Fits my orthodics very well.

Dyads are the best shoe for support if you?ve had any foot injuries. I broke my ankle and heel and it?s the only shoes I can work in without being in agony for the 12 hours I?m on my feet. Please keep them in rotation and bring more colors for the woman in healthcare.

Fit well and comfortable. Due to many surgeries on my feet, I need a lot of support. The footbed provided that but the top of the shoe did not, I found it too soft. I bought GHOST 12 at the same time, which I felt gave more of that total foot support. I love Brooks, they just fit me best and it’s my go-to running shoe. I also felt the bottom of the shoe was chunky compared to the GHOST 12.

I’m a nurse that work 12-hour shifts on my feet most of that time. I had my knee replaced a year and a half ago. This is the first shoe I have worn that has giving me support and comfort. And i has spent the small fortune in buying shoes since my knee replacement My feet do not ache as much and my knee is not as achy at the end of the day since I started wearing these shoes. Great arch support could use a little bit more room at the toe. But I think that’s because the shoes are new and they just need to be broken in. I am very happy with these shoes so far, it’s only been two weeks I’ve been wearing them. I hope they keep improving. If so you have a customer for life.

Third pair of Brooks sneakers I have purchased only because I’ve worn holes in each of the last two. After spending years wearing the wrong size sneakers and never finding ones that fit quite right, Brooks have been the best!! I love the Dyad 11 and how comfortable it is. Whether I’m inside or outside, I almost forget I’m wearing them. The black shoes with a little green detail are completely my style and I appreciate not having to trade style for comfort. I get both!

I’ve had these for two months. I walk every day for 2-3 miles and they already need to be replaced. I can feel pain in my knees and heels. They were great for the first 6 weeks.

The best part of the Dyad in past versions was the cushion. The 11 has lost the soft cushion and is extremely firm and rigid. My feet hurt after a day of wearing them. I have worn the 9 and 10 happily for years. Please bring back the cushion that the Dyad is known for and the only reason most of us buy it. I do not put any orthodics in my shoes usually. Also the previous Dyads had more arch support which I loved. This 11 is too hard and too flat. Just not a good product.

Love these, took me over $1000 to find a pair of shoes that didn’t bother my foot after having major foot surgery. I’ve boughten more Brooks since I’ve found their wide width fits perfect for my foot. I don’t have extra wide feet and these wides fit exceptionally well. The comfort is a bit harder than my other Brooks, but I don’t hesitate to put them on and go out. Gotten lots of compliments on these.

I have wide flat feet. I have been wearing Brooks Adrenaline for 10+ years, but tried switching to this model because I can no longer wear the Adrenalines. Sadly, these have the same issue. 8.5/Regular width feels good, until a day or two later. I start getting a tender spot on the bottom of my foot below the pinky toe. 8.5/Wide feels good until a week or so in and the upper area begins to feel too loose and my feet slide around. 8.0/Wide is too short. It’s like the footbed is too narrow and the edge is creating the tender spot below my toe. I think it’s time to try a new brand. 🙁 Suggestions?

I have really wide feet and recently needed inserts for Morton’s Neuroma. I ordered these true to size and wide. My inserts fit great, shoes are plenty wide in the toe box and they’re comfortable. I’ve already put at least 40 miles on them and they’re great. Highly recommend.

The Dyad 11 is a big improvement over the Dyad 10, with a more spacious toe box and better padding. The padding is discernibly better than the 10, but nothing like the dreamy cushioning of the 8 and prior models. Brooks “fixed” what was not broken when they reduced the padding, but has succeeded with a better toe box. Now if they’d just offer some variety of colors. Navy and black are not enough!

The 11 is somewhat larger in the toe box than the 10, but everything else is the same – esply comfort! No opinion on arch support since I use orthotics

The 10 model was much better and more of a shoe for my front foot issue. These don’t provide the same level of stiff and solid support.

Excellent shoe. W width is perfect for my fussy feet – high instep, high arches with orthotic to correct all sorts of issues. Ordering 1/2 size up for length was the right thing to do. I need a shoe that’s firm and comfortable. This one delivers.

The fit and comfort are amazing! I am always on my feet 8-12hrs a day. I could never find a pair of shoes, until someone mentioned brooks, I got a pair and absolutely fell in love with them! The comfort, the way my feet felt in them, the pain was gone, the achiness was gone within a few days, the support they give overall to my feet is amazing! I will forever be a supporter of brooks! So don’t ever change the way you make your products for shoes!! They look amazing when I wear them!

I have very wide feet and also have bunions. I contacted Brooks customer service and was told that the model Dyad was the widest fit they made. I decided to try a pair. THEY ARE WONDERFUL. From the moment I put them on (and they also accomodated my orthotics), they were fabulously comfortable. I have the navy pair and will order the black pair. Wish they had more color options, but these are so comfortable I will be happy with just the 2 pair!.

After ordering the first pair of these shoes in 8 extra wide, my usual size, and finding them way too large, I called the company and learned they have changed their sizing. For these shoes, I ordered the size and width a half size smaller and then they were just right!

In the frenzy of the pandemic I increased my running to daily, became sloppy with my form, and tripped on an uneven sidewalk. Fast forward past the 6 months of PT, x-rays, an MRI that didn’t see a fracture and finally a foot surgery in January. Until April I had been walking with a cane with greatly reduced capacity for distance. My mobility challenges impacted usual creature comforts and opportunities to socialize. In May I bought Brooks’ Dyad. It was the missing piece in my recovery and weight bearing. Within a week I was able to drop my cane and finally increase my distance. I’m back to intervals now and appreciative of everything that shoe offers. The science built into Brooks products resonates. I am indebted to a simple, but sophisticated, shoe.

This has become my only running shoe since injury, rehab, orthotics, more rehab, plantar fasciitis, more rehab. The fit is wide enough to allow toe splay. The insole provides adequate arch support, but it is also easily removable for orthotic use. The sole is less flexible than the Brooks Ghost, but provides decent feedback running on all surfaces. I also wear these to walk. I’m on my 7th pair. My only request is that Brooks would give some style attention to the Dyad. I’ve still got lots of years in me . . . I’d like some more fun/fashionable color combinations. The current color selection is boring and a tad frumpy. Thanks.

I haven’t been happy with Brooks over the past few years. Cheap material especially on the Pure Flow sneakers. I am really happy with these Dyad 11 shoes. They felt tight at first but I walked around the house and within two hours I didn’t notice anything. It’s a little heavier than other Brooks but they work for me and are good for walking. I just ordered a second pair .

perfect in every way

My orthotics fit perfect from my old Dyads. No “breaking in” really required. I use over ankle wool socks to ensure zero blisters. Perfection after the first few runs (30+ miles).

Absolutely love these shoes. I have 3 pairs of them. I like to alternately the colors. I had broke a foot and it got wider when it healed. These shoes have a wide toe area and they come in a wide width. Great support .I usually wear a size
8 1/2, but in these I bought a 9 and it was great. They wear well! That is the only style I buy anymore.
