This is the 4th pair I have owned. They feel wonderful as I am on my feet 8 hours a day.

Since I ordered the wrong size, which Zappos is graciously taking back (I will reorder), this review is for the same shoe I already have. I was starting to feel pain in the balls of my feet when wearing any of my other shoes – so I tried all sorts of remedies, but none were effective. From day one (about a year ago) I started wearing the Brooks Addiction Walker. Easily the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn in every respect. Though this first pair is still in excellent condition, I ordered the second pair to be certain I’d have this comfort should it ever be discontinued (Please don’t EVER discontinue this amazing feat of workmanship). As regards the size/width/support answers I gave – they were for the ones I already owned in the correct size.

I use these shoes to work in retail. They are the best shoes so far. They are even more comfortable than the original Addiction Walkers and with the non slip soles they are perfect. I will be a Brooks customer for a long time with shoes that are this well made.

Seemed to be lasted about a half size smaller than New Balance, which I have been wearing it seems like forever. Every time NB “updates” something it seems to be CHEAPER than before, NOT less expensive, that is! I am returning these and trying the next half-size larger which by what I have found might wind up being great!

Have bought these sneaks many times…use them for walking..I log 3 miles a day and they are the best in the biz for co dirt and support. Also they always look nice!

I have never had such a comfortable walk in my life. It is amazing what the correct shoe can do for your feet. For a very long time I suffered with an intense pain in my left foot and I just pushed through and walked anyway. My daughter got me a gift certificate for a local foot store and they recommended Brooks shoes. After my first walk in my new Brooks shoes the pain was GONE and has not returned. These walkers are the Second pair of Brooks shoes I have purchased and I cannot believe what these shoes have done to my life. I am now a believer and will always buy Brooks shoes and will recommend them to all my friends.

This is a great shoe for walking in. I don’t run. Have purchased a new pair of these every 18 months for over 15 years now, never wear any other shoes on my feet. They are comfortable and give my foot and ankle good support, and the Velcro closing instead of shoe laces are quick and easy on my fingers.

My daughter bought me these. I am hard to fit- 10W and have knee issues causing me to have stability problems on my old worn out sneakers. These fit perfectly! Nicest shoes I have ever worn. Feel very stable now and love the velcro straps! I live in the Keys so white is fine for our climate.

The shoes felt fine when putting them on, but my feet sort of moved in the shoes when walking. Also, though I chose the widest shoe type, I felt rubbing on the right small toe against the inside. For these reasons I had to return them.

I wear an ankle foot orthotics. The support from Zappos staff was critical in getting the right fit Bravo Zappod

Excellent shoe .I am 92 now and had to give up running.At my peak was doing 70 miles a week, all on Brooks shoes.pioneer with gel.Walk now about a mile a day,rain,snow.icy winds.Completed 9 Marine Marathons the first one at age 60 and yes Brooks shoes !!!

I got these to provide arch support for regular walks. They certainly seem to do that. I think they will take some breaking in, a bit stiff.

This shoe might be the most comfortable work shoe and walking shoe I have worn. Don’t care much for the style however and they did not have my size in Black. So I got the awkwardly white ones that you can see 3 thousand miles away. I prefer a solid heal not air support. I have a heavy heal strike. If I had a cushioned heal but not air the shoe would be perfect, as it is it’s pretty good. Like the Velcro strips vs shoelaces due to the type of work I do.

Shoes are great will need to return for a bigger size though. Brooks run a bit small so I always end up ordering a half size up.
