BillM –
I like the short for being not so long such as a 9″ short and not too short – The inside underwear brief was also very comfortable – The comfort of the fabric is wonderful and the zip up pocket is just what I needed for my cell phone – I could think of nothing that I disliked about the short
KathleenM –
Great fit, perfect length. Lightweight and great quality.

Well worth paying a little more for than the other brands’ similar products. I’m a short guy and finding the right pants/shorts is always a challenge. Many workout “shorts” inseams fall below my knee, and the crotch often hits around my mid-thigh (mind you, I’m not that short, but xtra big-and-baggy seems to be the standard for anything “sport”-themed and it’s super annoying because in addition to looking sloppy the baggy fits actually inhibits free movement.) On tip of that, I want a solid color and a pocket that will hold a smartphone. Doesn’t seem like too much to ask but in reality it’s well-nigh impossible. So as I said, these are worth the price. Good quality and I expect them to hold up.

Great running shorts. Would def order again in another color.

I liked the fit a lot. The mesh brief had just enough support. I have not used these for running yet. The Brooks 2” split shorts are my go to running shorts. I will be trying them when the weather gets colder, if it ever does. They are great for my gym workouts.

Nice and lightweight, but the inseam has a strange cut that tugs on the legs.

Very comfortable. Really like the waistband on these shorts

With two changes, these shorts would be perfect. First, the shorts need two pockets. If there was a left-hand pocket that was identical to the right-hand pocket, one could carry both a phone and three to five gels, salt tabs, etc. for long-distance training, marathon running, etc. With just one pocket, it is not practical to carry both a phone and more than one or two gels, and even if you carry a gel or two, the used gel packet, with all its gooiness ends up back in the same pocket as your phone. We need two pockets. Second, I would prefer the shorts to be unlined. I have base layer running underwear that works better for me than any lined shorts. I can (and will) cut out the liners, but it seems wasteful to me.

Ok running shorts, but pocket is too small to get my hand in. Another inch or two of zipper would be great!

I needed a new pair of running shorts. Found these on your website. Working out just fine.

They fit great. First time I used them I put my house key in the back pocket and when I got home there was no key and a hole in the pocket. So maybe work on that.

Recommend buying size larger than usual….snug fit otherwise. Side pockets with a phone pocket in side pocket. Phone pocket will not accommodate larger I phones > I phone 8 however. Nice exercise shorts for the price. Liner very comfy.

I love these light weight breathable shorts. They have a great little pocket for my car key and are not clingy or restrictive while running. I wear these shorts almost everyday to run. The tie draw cord provides a little extra snugness for added “stay in place”.

Ok, but lacks most of the pockets on the old version and a bit tighter fit. If you don’t mind only one pocket they are good overall.

1 of the only things I like is no hand pockets on these shorts. Majority of brands make them with hand pockets and I don’t like that. I usually wear 5″ shorts so it’s my fault for trying longer, they feel too restrictive. The waistband doesn’t fit well either, when I squat, I feel my butt crack being exposed. I love Brooks gear, but these shorts don’t make the cut for me.

The pocket is a little awkward; The opening is too narrow. Also, would be nice to have pockets on both sides.

My husband always wears these 7″ shorts. This recent purchase is probably his 5th? They fit him perfectly.

I do feel like the shorts were well made and will last well. However, I wish they had another pocket on the other side also. I also wish the shorts had more stretch or glide over the skin. It feels like the fabric is dragging on my legs when I run.
