I am 5′ 3″ and weigh 110 lbs. (with a fairly straight shape / not a lot of curve definition). I normally wear an XS or S, so I ordered both sizes. The S fit me better. I was hesitant about the waistband (I don’t like the style and thought it would be uncomfortable), but it works well with the short’s material and fit. The shorts are very lightweight (perfect for hot weather), and there is ample leg room for running or any movement greater than walking, without feeling restricted. The one feature I would like is zippered side pockets, which I haven’t found yet with this brand. The Sweaty Betty brand offers a style with zippered side pockets, but the shorts a little heavier than these Brooks Chaser shorts.
